Aluminium Rolled Products -  Finstock / Building Products

One of our traditional markets has been the supply of plain and coated light gauge Aluminium Coil commonly referred to as Finstock. This product is supplied directly to manufacturers of Commercial Airconditioners and Heat Exchangers.

Whilst aluminium is traditionally used for this application due to its natural anti corrosion & heat dissipation properties, in recent years, there has been a swing to use coated products for these applications. The coated product allows manufacturers/designers  to reduce the weight and amount of aluminium used (ie reduce cost), and/or increase the performance of the unit due to increased fin area and/or increase the corrosion resistance for corrosive environments (ie salt, pollution etc). These finstock coils have specialized epoxy or water based coatings providing Hydrophobic or Hydrophillic properties that permit thinner gauge Aluminium to be used.

Products traditionally used in this market include:

• 8XXX series alloys, with Phos-chromation (Bare).
• 8XXX series alloys, with Phos-chomation, in line epoxy or water based lacquers, for high corrosion resistance.
• 1XXX & 8XXX series alloys (Bare).

Building Products

Our range of Aluminium Rolled products for building applications is extensive. These include:

• Etalbond – A high quality, European sourced Aluminium Composite Panel for the Cladding and Sign industry. These panels come in a range of Architectural colours and different sheet size and thicknesses. They are easily formed and installed, and meet the strictest fire regulations. Also, for peace of mind, they carry 10 year manufacturer's guarantee.
• Strip/Coil/Foil/Circles – Low cost, thin gauge, mill finish Aluminium supplied to manufacturers of a range of building product applications, including: dampcourse products, roof ventilators, insulation foils, insulation tape etc.
• Painted Coils – Pre-painted Aluminium Coil used in the manufacture of rainwater goods. Coils undergo an inline painting process, offering premium quality adhesion and anti-corrosion properties.
