foodpro 2026 returns to Melbourne

12 July 2026

Australia’s food and beverage manufacturing sector will reunite in Melbourne from 26–29 July as foodpro 2026 brings four days of processing, packaging and production innovation to the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.

More than 400 exhibitors will showcase technologies across ingredients, processing systems, packaging machinery, automation, logistics and digital manufacturing—reflecting the industry’s push for greater efficiency, sustainability and traceability.

Event director Louise Brooks says foodpro arrives at a critical time for manufacturers facing rising energy costs, labour shortages and compliance pressures. “foodpro provides a platform for the industry to come together, explore practical solutions and connect with suppliers and technologies that can help them stay competitive,” she said.

The exhibition will feature live equipment demonstrations and an Innovation Stage program covering AI‑driven quality control, automation, food safety regulation, sustainable packaging and digital manufacturing systems.

Packaging will take centre stage through foodpro’s partnership with the Australasian Institute of Packaging (AIP), which will deliver training sessions and host the Packaging Innovation & Design Awards (PIDA) Gala Dinner on 28 July—held in Melbourne for the first time.  Attendance is free for industry professionals, marking more than 50 years of foodpro as one of Australia’s largest and longest‑running food manufacturing events.
