Constantia Flexibles, recognised as the world’s third-largest manufacturer of flexible packaging, approaches FACHPACK 2025 following a period marked by strategic investment, technological progress, and portfolio enhancement. These initiatives underscore the company’s leadership in both premium flexible packaging and sustainability.
Earlier this year, Constantia Flexibles finalised the acquisition of Aluflexpack, a prominent European provider of customized flexible packaging solutions. This acquisition has substantially strengthened Constantia Flexibles’ presence in high-value segments, particularly within the food and pharmaceutical sectors, while expanding its technological expertise and regional production capabilities.
“We have entered 2025 with a clear focus on delivering flexible packaging prepared to meet future challenges,” stated Marc Rademacher, Executive Vice President Consumer Commercial at Constantia Flexibles. “Our acquisition of Aluflexpack and ongoing investments in our production facilities are aimed not only at growth but also at building an agile, forward-looking packaging network that provides enhanced speed, technical expertise, and environmental responsibility for our customers.”
With the integration of Aluflexpack, Constantia Flexibles is set to present an expanded product range at FACHPACK 2025. The company plans to demonstrate a variety of innovations, including the Ecolutions portfolio, advanced pouch solutions, and new lidding materials. In collaboration with Syntegon, Constantia Flexibles will display pouches produced on Syntegon’s PMX line to highlight the exceptional real-world performance of its mono-materials EcoLamHighPlus (mono-polyethylene) and EcoVerHighPlus (mono-polypropylene). Additionally, EcoVerHighPlus will be featured through a partnership with Wolf Verpackungsmaschinen.
