National Resources Announces Collaboration with Wipak GreenChoice Flexible Packaging

National Resources is happy to announce it’s newly formed collaboration with Wipak on their range of GreenChoice sustainable flexible packaging products for the Australian market, focusing on food packaging.  Based on the principals of renewable, recyclable and recycled – the range of products in each category offers notable material and CO2 reductions.  In 2019, Wipak committed to becoming the first climate neutral flexible packaging company by 2025 and are on track to achieve this goal.

Their goals around the GreenChoice range of products includes a significant commitment to the following:

• Material reduction: A focus on reduction material usage and thickness while still maintaining consistently high product protection, durability and barrier properties.
• Reduction of carbon emissions: A continuous goal for the reduction of carbon emission through daily operational activities and new product solutions.
• Carbon neutrality: Striving towards the achievement of the their 2025 goal by improving the energy supply , choosing the correct transport vehicles, and creating climate neutral product ranges, such as the PAPER TOP® PD.
