Paper-based protection – with purpose: Mondi’s re/cycle HiProtex Paper

HiProtex Paper is part of Mondi’s re/cycle portfolio – a range of paper-based materials developed to enable circular packaging solutions and reduce reliance on non-renewable resources. Designed to replace traditional multi-material laminates containing aluminium foil or PVDC, this solution offers excellent barriers against oxygen, water vapour, and light.

With paper content above 80%, HiProtex Paper is designed for recycling according to CEPI recyclability guidelines and can be collected in the paper or light packaging stream where such collection infrastructure exists.  This makes it particularly well suited for packaging dry food, sweets, tea, pet food, personal care products, and nutritional supplements – applications that require superior product protection while meeting end-consumers’ expectations for more sustainable packaging.
