Aluminium alloy 5083 plate is widely used in transport applications due to its high strength & and its inherent weight saving. Alloy 5083 plate can be sourced in a range of Tempers and up to 2600 mm wide & 11.80 metres long in certain gauges. The default finish is Mill Finish, however in conjunction with specialised global suppliers, we can also offer a range of Mirror Finish Polished & Improved Surface finish options that clients in the transport segment often require.

Given the high expectation regarding surface finish & flatness for this market segment, we have done a lot of work with key suppliers to ensure the pallet design retains the sturdiness required to avoid in-transit damage but also permits a rapid de-construction for improved re-cycling outcomes for the timber & steel used.
