LOG Pharma Sets New Standard
16 December 2025
Foodpro 2026 will place packaging at the forefront of its program, announcing the Australasian Institute of Packaging (AIP) as the official Association Partner for the event. The partnership will bring a series of mini training courses and forums covering packaging design, regulations, sustainability, and food waste to the show floor.
Across the four-day exhibition, the AIP will also showcase finalists and winners of the 2026 Packaging Innovation & Design Awards (PIDA), offering attendees a closer look at the region’s most forward-thinking packaging solutions.
In a statement, Nerida Kelton FAIP, executive director of the AIP, described foodpro as “an important tradeshow for the food and beverage industries” and said the institute is “very proud to be an Association Partner of the show.” For the first time, the AIP will host the PIDA Awards Gala Dinner at foodpro, scheduled for 28 July 2026 at The Crown Aviary. Kelton emphasised that aligning the awards with foodpro will allow the industry to see “which packs took home a PIDA award” through a dedicated showcase on the exhibition floor.
Louise Brooks, commercial product manager of foodpro, welcomed the partnership, noting: “The addition of the PIDA Awards Gala Dinner to the program is a true milestone for the event and brings the industry together across education, training, innovation and networking.”
Foodpro 2026 will run from 26–29 July 2026 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, with tickets for the PIDA Awards Gala Dinner available through the AIP in early 2026.
